It Takes a Whole Mall to Raise a Child
by Jimmy Henry
This small collection contains big poems, some of the best, by Jimmy Henry. He writes from his experiences of family, social issues, and life on the street. In these poems, “He speaks honestly of his passions, of life’s edges,” writes poet James Bertolino, “and he speaks truth to power.” This is Jimmy Henry's second chapbook of poetry.
About Jimmy Henry
After Jimmy Henry became one of Bellingham's favorite poets, he went on the road. This was not such a bad thing, since he was a traveler and a poet, a genuine contemporary bard. We were very sorry to hear that he passed away suddenly in 2008. Be sure to order your copy soon, since Egress Studio Press has less than twenty copies available of Jimmy Henry's It Takes A Whole Mall to Raise a Child.
