Stained glass is a wonderful medium that is especially nice if you enjoy the play of light as much as I do. Shells, agates, handmade paper, even wasp paper allow light to pass through in special ways. Glass, though, does something with light that nothing else does. There's nothing like seeing glass light up in the sun, and then pass the color onto whatever it can touch.
The Blue Windmill
I made the pattern for this copper-foiled window several years ago. I always enjoy making something with glass, including special boxes and windows. Recently, I made frames to protect a few small assemblages using stained glass techniques.
